Can shared at the DSH tasting. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of massive artificial pineapple. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet. Real bubblegum palate. Light bodied with moderate carbonation.

500ml can (Tesco, Zywiec)
Smells like watered down squash. Exactly the grapefruit and pineapple squash I had when I was a kid. Papery beer, and vomit-inducing sugary chemical flavourings on top of that. I did gag on the first sip, which makes me dispatch the beer in a downward direction pretty damn quickly. Second sip didn’t engage the gag reflex, which is a shame, as that gave me more time to taste the goddamn awful taste of the sickly chemicals. What the fuck? I just took a third sip. Sweet artificial sickly horror.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of perfume and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of pineapple and grapefruits, leading to a dry finish. A soda pop.

Maakun (518) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2014
Can. Pale golden with small white head. lots of grapefruit on the nose. Taste is medium sweet with strong tart fruits, some bitter in the finish. Aroma of grapefruit, tropical fruit (don’t get a lot of pineapple) and light pilsner maltyness. Light bodied. Not too bad, at least it’s not so sweet like most other artificial flavored beers.

Bamsen78 (2991) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 25, 2014
Can. Pours clear light straw with fizzy whote head. Overwhelming aroma of lemonade, with citric touches. Excessively sweet flavour of ananas lemonade, with notes of malt and citrus and artificial sweetener, especially present in the finish. Bad, even for a Radler.
