Cask conditioned handpump Pineapple London 12/10/12. A golden beer with an off-white head. Lovely sharp piney new World hops in this. A big body and a great malt balance. A bit of spicy sting from the prolific hops. Tangering bitterness. Very nice indeed.

Cask @ The Southampton Arms. Bright golden amber color with a tight, creamy white head. The nose is big sweet orchard fruits, lemon, dried grass. The taste is very floral, herbal light tropical fruits. Some mango and passionfruit. Bouncy strawberry malts and honey. Light body, soft and easy-drinking. Overall, a nice, flavoful beer from Redemption.

Cask Small white rim over darker metallic-golden beer. Ureum-rich, sulphury hops, inviting all the same. Bit soapy, other grains and an apparent considerable amount of restsugars, nearly cornflake-like. The yeast giving in? Light to medium bodied, long aftertaste. A tad too sweet, maltsyrup-y for an IPA, IMO.

Cask. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with malt, caramel, and a bit of hops, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask gravity, Derby Winter BF, 17/02/12. Haloed pale copper. Sweet jam- like aroma; pollen, honey, tea and spliff. Honeyed digestives, floral hops, stale boiled lemon sweets, touch of meat. Ultimately peachy, honeyed, Lockets flavoured like a watery, flowery, malt-sodden US IPA. OK but not the hop explosion I was hoping for.

Creamy but concentrated fruit blast. Fairly busy head lasting to the bottom of the glass. A bit too much going on for any distinction amongst the medley of bitter citrus. Likely the end of the cask pouring or just a busy night, but didnt settle well. Definitely keen for re-rate, but excellent otherwise. (Cask, Bow Bar, Edinburgh (Winter Beer Fest))
