Cask at Stavio in Rome-Italy. Pours clean and light brown, little gassy phenomenon on the surface. Nose: chocolate, barley, clean mix of those 2 elements. Mouth: some red fruit (wow), fresh mild infused coffee, hops. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Pours brown with a big and persistent off-white/beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, cappuccino, chocolate, light coffee, good. Flavour is perfectly balanced between sweetness and bitterness. Medoum to light body, light carbonation. Dry and drinkable, amazing!

2015-09-23. Dark mahogany brown body with a modest foamy beige head. 4+ Aroma has toasty nutty malt character, light fruit. Flavour is pleasant, toasty malt, lightly fruity, toasty almost nutty accents. 7+ Very smooth average plus body, soft carbonation. 3++ Not very porter like but very nice. On tap at Euston Tap, London, UK.

September 11, 2014 - on cask at Euston Tap. Clear ruby with a beautiful lasting large creamy milky tan head. Nutty aroma - plenty of baker’s chocolate roast, some herbal bittering, smells great. Taste follows, a little less of the bitterness, but the malt has its own bitterness to prevent it being cloying; really creamy mouthfeel, some flavoured coffee too - airy, velvety, a medium-quick finish - some light dry earthy bitterness in the finish; lovely stuff, I could drink a lot of it.

Bottle Ales by Mail. This poured very flat, see through ruby black appearance. Light blackcurrant and cherry aroma, good full roast flavour, rich bitterness in the finish, with rubbery notes, but a smooth palate throughout. A little yeastiness only adds to this tasty porter
