Cask at Euston tap. Clear dark pour pour with a persistent patchy cream good with thick lace. Aroma is subtle choc and berry. Slight chalk. Flavour is balanced nutty malt with roast and earthy hop following. Medium body. Lowish carb. Woody finish. Nicely put together porter.

Gravity dispense at Windsor Locale festival - 22/07/12. Black in colour with a small to medium beige head. Slightly burnt roasted malt nose, coffee & choclate. Tasted as nose but not really picking up the burnt. Also caramel/toffee and a little licquorice. Good higher end medium body but not anywhere near chewy and a great roasted finish. One of the best UK cask porters Iíve had in recent times.

Cask - The Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London. A foamy and lasting off-white to beige head sits atop a deep & dark brown body after the pour. Some yeast & red fruits on the nose. Quite rich & roasty on the tongue with some mid fruit & a lingering dry coffee note. Tangy mid fruits & yeast develops on the tongue as the glass continues. Medium body, softly carbonated mouthfeel with a medium length lightly tangy finish.
