An tasty wee porter which is teasing me, Liquorice, mace, mixed dried fruit, anything, something, whatever it is it’s going on in the background which makes for a good pint.

Small coarseish beige head. Clear deep dark red body. Delicate earthy spicy aroma with herbal licorice notes. Dry-sweet earthy raisiny dusty taste with fruity grape notes. Mid-bodied. Soft, mild, flat, fluffy mouthfeel. Dryish grape, resin, and wood aftertaste with herbal spicy licorice notes. Lovely! Subtle, drinkable, and full of flavour. Very vivid.
