(draught) pours a slightly hazy deep copper colour with a creamy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops and yeast, quite meaty, with a hint of cherries, peaches and perfume. flavour is more cherries and some grapes, with light notes of grain and milk chocolate. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

On cask at the Grosvenor. Appearance - amber with a nice head. Nose - herbs pine and a touch but just a touch of toffee. Taste - creamy orange with again just a touch of biscuit. Almost like an orange cheesecake. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - an enjoyable bitter even if I’d have enjoyed more biscuits.

McNeillR (1093) - SCOTLAND - MAY 9, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2014 Mahogany amber, creamy eggshell white head and neat lacing. Pine fresh, light woody/earthy. Like an old clean rug. Tastes smooth, low carb, light bitter. Lemon tang, wee bit dusty towards the finish. However this is a smooth metally sheen. Decent enough, very pleasing to have an enjoyable bitter for the sake of a tick.

Cask, Grovesnor, Edinburgh

Cask@The Railway, Streatham, London - amber pour with nice medium white head and persistent lacing. Smooth caramel malts, toffee, slight butterscotch, nice subtle hop profile, decent brew this. ---Sent via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at the Gallows Bird, Espoo, Finland. Clear dark golden colour with a tiny white head. Dark bread, malt and more bread in the aroma. Very bready. The flavour is mild, bland and blah... Maybe some mild hops. Boring. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask @ Gallows Bird ⅩⅦ Real Ale Festival
Aroma is woody with hay and grainy bread. Also some caramel and toffee. Flavour has some resin, some woody tones, toffee and caramel. Also some minerals. Also some vegetables do occur after some sips. Unexpected, bready and a bit disappointing.
