COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular
Chestnut coloured best bitter with pale chocolate malt providing coffee aromas and some hazelnut and caramel on the palate, with dark fruit flavours. Citrus notes and an earthy bitterness last into the finish.

Cask (CWAF2012, Fri)
Some grunge in the aroma, swimming pool perhaps. Slightly minerally, but easy to drink rich roasty quaffer. Deep red, small spongy head. Bread and butter finish. Normally these guys rock, I think this wasn’t at its peak.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Brown. Smells like tobacco, leather and a bit of smoke. Flavour is dusty initially, with all the aforementioned flavours. Then becomes quite sweet. Well balanced ESB , with a smidge of roast crunch to finish.

[Cask at Milton Keynes Beer Festival 2011] Deep chestnut, loose yellowy-white head. Chocolately throughout, some apple, and a dusty hop sack bitterness to finish. Nice autumn beer.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London. Dark amber color. The aroma and flavor are toffeish and quite nutty with fruity hops, wine gums and some hop tannins. Nice nutty and fruity bitter.

10/10/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (cask).
