Clear gold poured int a shaker pint. Thin white head that disappears fast. Small amount of visual carbonation. Malty aroma of cereal grains. Light body with a nice hop balance. This is an excellent session beer as described. Nice clean refreshing finish.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass. Aroma is resin with weak cereal. Appearance is hazy golden orange with nice sparkle, finger-width fizzy white head with fair retention and minimal lacing. Taste is light bitter herbs over cracker/biscuit light sweetness. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with lively carbonation and abrupt lightly bitter finish. Overall, pretty light all around. Better than a macro but just barely.

Sigmund (6231) - Tau, NORWAY - FEB 23, 2016
355 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. Probably well beyond its BB date. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, low white head. Aroma of dust, grain and wet basement. The flavour has a certain citrussy fruitiness that makes the beer drinkable, on a less pleasant background of very "dusty" malts. Low bitterness. Might have been somewhat better when it was fresh, but hardly a great beer anyway.

Very slightly hazy bright gold with a thin white top. Earthy grassy aroma and noble bitterness. Crisp and bright flavor with nice biscuity graininess, light Maris otter business goin on, crisp grassy hops. Smooth and biscuity and crisp and slightly British hoppy bitter. Quaffable British pale.

Tap @ Old Chicago - Boise: Generally, a crisp malty good brew. Nothing that hoppy, but a classic amber ale.
