Light amber color with foamy white head. Smells like a pale lager, grassy hops. Taste is better than I was expecting: a pleasant balance of pale malts and grassy hops. Notes of crackers and flowers. Itís certainly nothing exciting, but a decent tasting, highly drinkable pale ale.

A Dan Patrick inspired beer! Hells yea!! Clear golden with small white head, smell is herbal, grassy, grains. Taste is much the same. Comes off more as a pils than pale with hints of herbal medicine and slightly soapy and medium sweet finish. Interesting, but its a redhook, so not much to write home about.

Bottle. Nose on this one is pretty light, though I can get some subtle grassy hops notes in there. Taste is actually pretty light and crisp, with just a hint of citrus and bitter in there. Very drinkable, and an easy brew.

Gold pour with white head and lace. Aroma is light malt and a tad of oxidation. Sweet malt start with a breadiness and not much hop bitter. Medium bodied with ok carbonation. ok beer

Serving: from tap at Century Link Field. Aroma: lightly hoppy. Appearance: average-sized, frothy, off-white, initial head with mostly diminishing longevity and fair lacing. Clear, dark-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and lightly sour finish with short duration. Palate: medium bodied with dry texture and lively carbonation. Overall: very good.

12 oz beer. Pours clear copper. Aroma of grain, pine, citrus. Flavor of grain, floral, citrus. Not too bad, but a fairly mild APA

12oz bottle, from Jungle Jimís Fairfield. Date on bottle reads 4/5/13. Mildly hazy golden orange color. Thin white head, leaves pretty good layers of lace initially, but it all fades to minimal after a bit. Medium body. Moderate strength carbonation, with a bit of a rougher texture. Soapy hops, lightly citrusy. Kind of an over-bitter bite to the taste. Any sweet maltiness that may have served to balance it out is instead just a soapy spicy bite, not an appealing taste. Not a good pale ale; not satisfying to wash a sandwich down with.

A smooth and refreshing pale ale. Not grossly hopped. Very well balanced. Redhook knows beer!

Never heard of this brew before, but Iíve liked some Redhook stuff in the past so I decided to take a shot on a sixer from Publix. When I poured it I thought maybe I had stumbled upon a nice product from Redhook because the aroma was light but slightly hoppy w/ a little vanilla. Appearance was golden medium/dark w/ a full frothy head...so things started off nicely, unfortunately it all went down hill from there. Thin and watery on the palate w/ hardly any hop presence or carbonation bite. Finishes bland and hay like. Unfortunately this average tasting brew seems to pander to the masses of beer swilling folk rather than to the craft brew fans. Prob gonna try and return the last 5.
