Strykzone (5350) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - OCT 14, 2013
12 ounce bottle from a store in Independence, MO. This is golden and just a little hazy. A soapy off white head that leaves a lot of lacing. I smell a lot of sweetness with some tropical fruit. I taste sweet citrus and cinnamon. Hops are hard to find and malts are in front. Malts and cinnamon with a bit of citrus are what this has to offer. Perhaps a hint of caramel and apricot is tasted late. For a session APA this is not bad at all.

Chipalsa (1311) - Florida, USA - OCT 14, 2013
This was an OK pale ale, there are hops somewhere in there but it is mostly grainy and lightly fruity. I guess it’s an "audible" when the only other choice is Budweiser.

Crushable ale. One-off collab with Dan Patrick. Pours a gold color with little head. Aromas of water. Taste is slightly bitter with some sweetness. Highly crushable and I’m not sloppy by halftime.

DialSquare (3195) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 7, 2013
Bottle from ABC on Apalachee. Gold pour with small off-white head that leaves a slight ring. Aroma is faint pale malt and grain. Tastes are bready, floral and background citrus. Fairly bland. Minus 1 point for being associated with that windbag.

Ughsmash (7281) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Bottled. Poured clear, medium orange with a creamy white head. The aroma picked up toasted grains topped by just a little bit of grassy hops.. not much going on, and not interesting. The flavor found pale malts, a little honey, and cardboard at the core, with light grassy bitterness and prickly carbonation on the edges.. meh. Light-bodied with just an OK feel.. I don’t need another.

seymour (1591) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Shared a 12 brown bottle into a sampler glass. It poured a light orangish-amber colour with moderate off-white foam. Malty sweet, faint caramel, reminiscent of grapefruits and English marmalade. Faintly flowery and pine resiny. Light-medium body, strong carbonation, bittersweet aftertaste. Tasty-enough, sessionable, but predictable APA.

Bottle from Meny Oslo City enjoyed at home
Golden clear, white head. Smells of spices and honey, some resins and hops. Quite wak and boring actually. Moderate sweet, woody, some honey and grain. Moderate bitter, hints of resins and wood. Not at all like an APA to me; where is the hops?

35,5cl bottle from Meny Oslo City. Pours almost clear golden with a white head. Mild hoppy and malty aroma with citrus, fruity notes and hints of peaches, pine and caramel. Moderate sweet with a fairly light bitterness. Pretty light bodied, but refreshing and easy to drink. Slightly boring, but sessionable.
