FROTHINGSLOSH (4843) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 11, 2014
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy bread dough and corn. The flavor was tart and tangy with notes of bread dough, corn and black pepper. Medium length finish. light to medium body. Not good.

Zarkam (376) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 10, 2014
355ml bottle from local supermarket in Helsinki, clear orange colour, small frothy mostly vanishing white head, fair lacing. Moderately malty aroma of bread, caramel and a bit of nuts with moderate fruity and grassy hops with a bit of lemon. Taste is initially quite balanced and a bit on the acidic side turning into a moderately bitter finish with an astringent feel. Medium body, thinish oily texture, lively carbonation. A fairly pleasant and refreshing ale, not a ton of flavour and aroma but a bit more than the average ale of this strength.

Hmm, I suppose this brew is not as ambitious as some of RedHook’s other offerings, this whole "crushable" theme seems to be putting a positive spin on producing a less assertive and less interesting pale ale. Aroma and body struck me as light and thin, grainy maltiness with floral or grassy hops. Flavor was of decent intensity, mild fruity hoppiness, not much bitterness. I guess its good for being just an easy drinking mild pale ale. Far better then any macro at any rate!

scotchzombie (318) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAY 5, 2014
Pours clear copper amber with a large, full, creamy just off-white head that fades to a coating but leaves lacing. Aroma is mild bready caramel malt and grass. Taste is somewhat metallic and bitter-leaning though there is a bed of malt there. Some grassiness; very slight floral notes in the aftertaste. Not my favorite among the Red Hook staples.

Foffern (1168) - Bodø, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2014
Bottle at Café Fiasco, Oslo. Pours a slightly hazy light orange colour with a small, off-white, creamy head. Has a fruity aroma with peaches, fruity hops, mown grass, hay and citrus. Sweet flavour of tropical fruit and more fruity hops, and is a little dry in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A fruity and easy drinking ale.

A beautiful golden color with a very thin nearly nonexistent head. However, a nice bit of combination to tickle your palate. The favor is pleasant with a nice bite at the end.

Pours a nice gold color with a one inch white head that lasts. Lots of carbonation. Taste is of malt, hops, grapefruit caramel and grass Has a mostly full body with a slight bitter and dry finish. Drinkable and rather enjoyable.

swiseman (426) - Fredericton, New Brunswick, CANADA - APR 27, 2014
pours an amber with thin head. minimal aroma. light body, but, as the description suggests, still contains a good amount of hops including some grass and even flower taste. interesting attempt at a flavourful session beer.

Bookseeb (111) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - APR 20, 2014
Appearance has a light golden orange color supporting a thin dissipating head leaving nil lace. Smell of sweet caramel malt and light hop. Taste is light in the malt, but it is only 4.7% which could have used a softer hop to balance. Mouthfeel is a light medium with good carbonation. As what its for, a good session ale.

jackl (4385) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - APR 19, 2014
Bottle @ Casa Jackl. SPORTS!! The pour’s gold with a small white head. Mellow marshmallow, a bit of wood, stewed summer fruits. The taste is pretty mellow, milquetoast. A bit of honeyed bread. Vegetable. Strong carb, light body. Meh.
