Pretty standard for the style. Not a whole lot going on in terms of flavor, but has a nice texture to it and it drinks easily. There’s a bit of a biscuity flavor and the hops are a little more forward than you’d expect. Overall: meh.

12oz bottle. Pours a pale yellow with very little white head. Sorry Ben but nothing great here. I guess for the style it’s OK but I really don’t get this one. It taste like a slightly above average typical macro.

Brewvival Trip Beer 21. 12 ounce bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours a hazy lemon yellow color with a thon frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pale, dry malts, corn, grassy hops. The taste is corn, pale malts, light toast, grassy hops. Medium boded. Solid cream ale.

@Tullycross–on tap-white head that laces-yellow. A-somewhat sweet grain. T-somewhat sweet grain/wheat?, some spice hop bite.

Bonus appearance point because I dig the new Redhook bottles. Dark yellow, nicely carbonated, not much head. Smells like toast and I don’t know, beer? It smells like beer. There. I’ve said it. Taste is bready, toasty, with a grassy hop finish.

The beer itself pours a lovely golden color and smells like a nice bowl of frosted flakes. As soon as it hits the tongue you get a nice mix of sweet malts and bitter hops and the hops finish all the way down. Amazingly crisp and very drinkable all the way through.

9th August 2012<br<GBBF - as Redhook Cream Ale 4.8%. Cask. Hazy pale gold beer. Small bubbly white head. Light palate. Interesting flavour of peach and apricot, very slightly sour, over creamy malt. Semi dry finish. Good. Didn’t realise at the time this would ultimately be the tribute beer so hats off to Ben Harris.

Draft. Medium white head atop clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, bread/corn, light hay. Taste is medium sweet, corn, some spicy, hay. Light body, light effervescence, nicely drinkable.
