Decent but not great. Especially after just drinking a Stegmaier porter, which blows this away in flavor. At least this tastes better than the Redhook IPA.

A solid porter. A bit weak for my tastes, and a bit too sweet.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2003 I' not usually a fan of porter, but as always redhook made a good beer. A quasi powerful and robust taste that is still drinkable. I really liked this one. Goes excellent with a steak.

A nice dark porter. aroma of roasted malts. very smooth but better cask-conditioned or on a nitro tap than bottled.

a nice stepping stone to more traditional porters

Decent but overrated porter. Better on tap & nitro than in the bottle. Smoother and creamier. Still has a decent roasted malt profile and snappy hop bite.

Very good porter. Smooth and not too heavy on the roasted flavor. Thin and lacking head though.

Typical Redhook. Not bad, but not great.

One of Redhook’s best. Deep mahogony color. Rich roasted malt presence with plenty of punch. Smooth texture and pleasant malty finish. A great value if you can find it.

Haven’t had this one since I visited the brewery itself, but it is a very good brew.
