3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a mostly clear dark golden color with a moderate white head on it. Nose is really quite interesting - I can get some nice floral and grassy notes, with just a hint of banana in there. Taste is actually a little bitter and fresh, and reminds me a bit of an APA. Not a bad brew at all.

Poured a golden straw clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Light semi-layered lacing on the sides of the glass. Very good retention on the top of the glass all the way down.
Smelled floral hops, citrus hops, caramel, pine, light orange rind, honey wheat, grass and unknown spices. Very inviting.
Tasted not quite as good as the smell, but decent nonetheless. Got floral hops, caramel, honey, wheat, grass, soapy notes and light pine, all with a bitter aftertaste.
Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, but refreshing finish.
Really enjoyed this pale ale, which I originally thought was a blonde. Would definitely have it again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very good flavor, but the alcohol content is lacking. I guess at this point I am not impressed by anything below 6%.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Btl pours clear, bright golden color with a white fluffy head thats stands up nice, leaving good lace on glass. Smells of pine and orange and tangerine citrus. Tastes of lightly sweet caramel malt,a hint of cookie dough, and citrus hops. Light body, smooth texture ,mild carbonation and a tingling mouth feel in the finish. A good blonde ale that isnít boring. Very crisp and clean hop flavors make this beer stand out amongst other blondes. Nice refreshing session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy with a big citrus snap. Flavor is also well hopped. Very herbal and resin hops used. Well hopped and they stand out way more here than a lot of other blonde ales. This is hopped more then some pale ales Iíve had.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from Mile High Wine & Spirits into a pint glass. Blonde and clear with a small white head that lingers. Nice fresh aroma, orange peel, tangerine, pale malts, floral notes, light pine and citrusy hops. Similar flavor, moderately bitter and lightly sweet. Average body, kind of thin, with a lingering hoppy finish. Not too bad, kind of refreshing with nice chuggability.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle- Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, somewhat dank piney hops.. The taste is a hopped up blond ale actually, I like the hops, but the base beer is pretty basic. Still better than the old time boring ass blond ales of yesteryore.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle from the Craft Brew Alliance Explorer variety pack bought at Winco in CDA, ID. Aroma is nice and hoppy--citrus, pine, pineapple, cat piss. Also, earth, dough. They sure are making blonde ales more interesting these days arenít they? Pours clear golden with some particles floating around under a collapsing white head. Taste is also hop-forward but with that earthiness right alongside. Body is somewhat thin, but not in a bad way. With these hop-forward examples coming out lately, itís getting to the point where blonde ales and American Pale Ales are pretty much one and the same, I think.
