bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of bread, grassiness, grapefruit zest and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread, citrus and light grassiness with a smooth finish.

Blonde avec un arôme d’agrumes. Légèrement sucré avec un peu de malt et agrumes et une finition légèrement amer.

A fruity citrusy with a hint of sweetness come from this slightly hazy blonde brew with no head. I get a light bodied almost crisp flavor of a touch of sweetnesd and rhe bitterness of the hops. The body id good and light the carbonation is good with tiny bubbles. The bitterness is great... However there is no malt or sweet flavors to offset the bitterness. The aftertaste is orange but it takes awhile for it to come thru. This beer is quite bland but would do well on a hot day. For a blond its below average.

~Citrusy lemon aroma with tangerine, bread malt, minerally. ~Pours a slightly hazy gold with quickly disappearing white head. ~Tangerine and lemon flavor with earthiness, subdued bread malt character. ~light bodied, with medium CO2, lingering citrusy piney hop finish. ~Nothing special. Over hopped in my opinion. Probabaly be good with a steak.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of earthy grains and biscuit notes with some grassy hops backing. Flavor starts with biscuit and sweet grain that is joined by grass and a bit of light pine.

Aroma is grains/malts, spices/slightly vegetal and a hint of dank/grassy hops. The flavor is citrus, fruit, mild hop resin notes, malts and a mild/medium bitter finish. Pretty decent blonde.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear dark golden color with a moderate white head on it. Nose is really quite interesting - I can get some nice floral and grassy notes, with just a hint of banana in there. Taste is actually a little bitter and fresh, and reminds me a bit of an APA. Not a bad brew at all.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Stone Ruination IPA pint glass From: VONS in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif. Price: $15.99 (w/ VONS card) for a variety Redhook/Kona/Widmer 12-pack Purchased: Feb. 21, 2014 Consumed: Feb. 21, 2014 Misc.: Born on date of Dec. 5, 2013 Poured a golden straw clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Light semi-layered lacing on the sides of the glass. Very good retention on the top of the glass all the way down. Smelled floral hops, citrus hops, caramel, pine, light orange rind, honey wheat, grass and unknown spices. Very inviting. Tasted not quite as good as the smell, but decent nonetheless. Got floral hops, caramel, honey, wheat, grass, soapy notes and light pine, all with a bitter aftertaste. Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, but refreshing finish. Really enjoyed this pale ale, which I originally thought was a blonde. Would definitely have it again.
