COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . Redhook Blonde pairs well with medium flavored foods such as fish, nachos or salad. Available year round.

Not bad. A little less intense then most blondes, it’s most notable character is it’s bready, yeasty flavor. While I was taken aback at first at such a diversion from the traditional style, this one really grew on me. The best Red Hook I have tried (though admittedly I haven’t tried a lot).

A typical golden ale. Nothing to write home about but not too bad. Aroma was very weak...a bit of malt and some corn. Pour was a light gold with a nice 2 finger white head. Lots of carbonation. Taste was very fizzy with a bit of malt in the aftertaste with a slightly hop finish that is both dry and uninspiring.

Poured a straw color with a small head that stuck around for the entire time I drank it. Very little flavor to mention and tastes like a domestic beer. Reminded me of a Pabst.

On draft at SouthStreet City Oven. They were trying to call it SouthStreet Blonde. There was 1 cm of white head left by the time the glass arrived at my table. Golden-amber color, loose lacing. Nose is grain and soap. More grain, hint of strawberry candy and toast. Soft carbonation and thin/medium body. Decent, but very forgettable.

Oh, what a ghastly beer this is! So watered down, and lacking in flavor, that my third and, God willing, final bottle is almost assuredly a drain pour.

Gold colour with some hints of read, tall foamy head that disappeared. Faint aroma. The flavour is mild and has a nasty hop bitter/of flavor at the end. It was tough to finish.
