Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . 12oz bottle from the sampler pack. Pours golden with a short white head that stays pretty well and laces some. Aromas of dough, grains, and light lemon with some honey. Flavor is honey sweetness over grains, and dough.. Crisp clean palate makes this a real thirst quencher. Pretty lively carbonation. Not bad really..

Bottle: Looks like a Budweiser, has almost no smell, and almost no taste. It’s not bad, but it’s not great. It’s not much of anything.

An easy drink with no strong flavors and more body than I expected. Part of a 4 beer variety pack.

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2006 Bottle. Pours medium golden with a white head. Faint aroma of dough and toasted grain. Medium sweet malt, honey, and some european hops come out in the flavor. Decent mouthfeel. Crisp finish, with some spiciness. Not that bad actually. I think the name is bringing down the ratings.

Smells like urine, tastes too malty. Very little aftertaste, though. A disappointment from Red Hook, who I usually enjoy.

Clear and light, almost lager in appearance. A bit of bitterness and a medium body. Good for drinking in quantity.
