COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . Redhook Blonde pairs well with medium flavored foods such as fish, nachos or salad. Available year round.

Redhook Blonde Ale 12 oz bottle Brewed 08/06, consumed 08/06 Medium pour in a pilsner glass Poured a clear gold with a white fully diminishing 1/4 inch white head. Smelt of light perfume and bread. Taste was upfront sweet perfume followed by light bittersweet bread and a hint of floweriness, with an average finish. Mouthfeel was light, watery and fizzy. Overall, a good no-brainer beer with some easily accessible taste.

Pours a nice clear solid gold color with a small amount of foamy bubbly white head. Aroma is a bit wheaty, orange, bubble gum, and grass. Flavor is a bit citric caramel wheat malts and a wheaty finish. Overall, decent.

Pour is of course golden with a large white head. Aroma is faint malts with a touch of grassy hops. Nothing really stands out but it is a nice sweet aroma. Flavor is hoppy and dry with some bitterness and a slight sweetness. This is just fine on a warm night but not much more than that. Its also fairly cheap.

Golden with a quickly disappearing head. Fairly effervescent. Light, grainy, malty aroma. Roasted malt a bit more noticeable in the flavor. Smooth finish. Pretty light but tastey beer.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2007 Nothing special, but it’s a pretty good brew. Nice refrshing crispness accompanies this golden bubbly beer. Not much in the way of head, aroma is nice, slight malty smell. An overall good drinkin brew.

Draught. Pale golden, medium head, nice lacing, good carbonation. Aroma is faint malt and bread. Flavor is grainy, light, watery, etc. Standard kind of beer for non-beer drinkers that every brewery makes. Not terrible for the style, but nothing in the style is really good.

On tap at Old Chicago. A little bit of wet dog smell. Not much flavor, a bit dry. Drinkable, nothing special.
