COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . Redhook Blonde pairs well with medium flavored foods such as fish, nachos or salad. Available year round.

Faint, but pleasant enough aroma.."Subtle hops" is right... Very meek and mild on the palate as well, with that "touch of wheat" prominent on first gulp...it works well, and adds a certain characteristic to the mouthfeel that sets it apartment, and keeps it from being an entirely dull-as-dishwater blonde ale...but just barely... Very light in body, with a scant, wheaty/citric finish..."refreshing" indeed. Not my favorite kind of beer, but this does it’s business well, and I hope it is enjoyed by those kind of people who enjoy this kind of beer.

(Knoxville Brewers’ Jam). Pours clear, but dense, yellow with thin white head. The nose is lemon and butter. It tastes kind of starchy with some barley and corn sugar. Not very good.

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2007 Pours bright golden with a mostly receding white head. Mild aroma of cereal grain, maybe some corn and honey. Taste starts with a slightly unpleasant bitterness and finishes lightly malty, but mostly clean and neutral. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Minor flaws, but rather forgettable.

Bottle. Light amber beer with a decent whitich head. Nice crisp beer. Malt/grain flavor with balanced hops (light citrus flavor). Low malt and citrus aroma.

Very refreshing beer. Clear gold with little head. Taste is wheaty, and little sweet and lemony, kind of like a hefe-light. A good beer for a hot day, but nothing spectacular. A better alternative to Bud Light.

I think this is the perfect beer for your friends who don’t like beer...and even those that do! It is very drinkable with a pleasant taste and absolutely no unusual aftertaste. I’d call it a mellow, yet good beer to drink.

Draft @ fox and hound. Pours light amber w/ small white head. Nose of light honey and hopps. Taste of sweet caramel, honey, and light malt.

I think there is too much fruit taste in this beer. If it were a little less bitter it would go down easier.
