COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . Redhook Blonde pairs well with medium flavored foods such as fish, nachos or salad. Available year round.

Bottle. Bottled on: 04/18/05. Golden pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma is cornbready and wheaty. A pleasant surprise taste-wise. I thought this would be completely flavorless. Instead, it’s a unique corn/wheat mix that I can tolerate pretty well and actually enjoy sometimes. Carbonation level is way too high though. Of course it’s thin and watery. Average at best.

Clear deep gold colour with thin white head. No discernable nose. Mild malt taste with slight malt finish.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2006 I really like this one and I am surprised that its not rated higher. The aroma is like hay and herbal hops. The appearance is a nice hazy gold and the flavor is unique and enjoyable. It has a light hopping along with a salty cheese taste. But best of all this one has a very strong malt taste that lingers through the finish. Great beer!

The bottle poured a crystal clear light amber beverage with an ample smooth white head that lasted 5 minutes and was gone, almost without a trace. There was very light carbonation. The aroma was quite subtle with notes of sweet grass mixed in with the malt. It had a light body with a creamy texture and soft carbonation. The taste of sweet malt dominated the initial taste. It matured in the middle to a softer subtle malt mixed with slight hop bitterness. The finish was warming and mild.

Aroma of grain. Hazy gold with decent head. Balanced flavor with the barley and hops. Would of thought this would be more bitter but it wasn’t for a blonde. Rich on the palate a decent beer.

Poured a light amber with small head. Light malt aroma. Flavor is malt, soap with a metalic finish.

A very light and easy drinkable beer. It is basically just turns out to be a beer that you would certainly take over a typical BMC but not go out of the way for it.

Poured a deep, hazy gold with an inch-thick rocky foam head. Grainy, musty aroma. Flavor is well-rounded malt with a touch of husk and a mild hop finish. Very full-bodied and thick on the palate. This beer is like a meal ... I certainly didn’t expect this kind of body in such a light colored beer. Very good. I am surprised at how low the ratings are for it.
