COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . Redhook Blonde pairs well with medium flavored foods such as fish, nachos or salad. Available year round.

Small white head thats short lived with a scant bit of lace left behind. Pale copper color. Faint malt nose, slight grassinness. Light body, sorta pastey. Lightly hopped, lightly malty, grainy. Medium dry finish, zzzzzzzzzzzz. Thanks to HeRftYDrf for this one.

Pours dark yellow with little to no head. Aroma is grassy, strawlike. Flavor is of mild barley and a touch of wheat. Finish is clean and uninteresting.

OK, it’s not *that* bad...well, it probably *is* the worse of the Redhook brews, but it’s more drinkable than, say, Bud or Miller, or Fosters...of course, that’s not saying much!

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2004 This beer does not look appealing as it has the look of most cheap american pale ales...however the flavor is quite enjoyable. Don’t be decieved by bad looks, it’s whats on the inside that counts.

It’s like drinking corn. I enjoy the occasional boiled corn on the cob, but I definately do not enjoy drinking the water in which it was boiled. Awful stuff. Could not finish this one.

Golden color with a smallish head. Very light aroma of hops. The taste made me take a couple more sips to figure out what it was. There were mild hops and barley, but also the slightest hint of wildflowers. Strange... Not great, but it was good enough.

Gold Coloring. Small Head. Some Hops.... Didn’t find It to be All That Appeasing. Drinkable Just Nothing Notable About it.
