COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . Redhook Blonde pairs well with medium flavored foods such as fish, nachos or salad. Available year round.

on tap, far too mild for my liking. hardly any aroma along with a malty taste that overshadowed any hop taste.

Nothing much to this yellow ale. Flavor is ok, not bad, but not great either. It's a decent summertime beer. My girlfriend likes this beer, so that should say something.

On tap: the bar thought it was cool to serve this one in a frosted mug. I wanted to die as my girlfriend saw my look of disgust with the bartender. Anyways this one was a light gold, somewhat piss looking color with a moderate head. Taste was earthy and did little to impress me.

Pours pale, clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma was mild; a little grain, a little citrus. Flavor was smooth (not always a good thing), very easy. Malt in the start, a little spicy. A little hops in the finish, slightly acidic. Not bad, but just a few steps above the typical swiil.

An alright beer. It tastes rounded on your tounge... you definitely know the diff. 0.5 seconds later... but nothing distinctive.

When I first saw this I shuddered as i figured this was the new boss saying crank out something easy to drink. Well, that's pretty much waht it is, but not so much in a bad way. Some decent bitterness and body. Draw back for me was coming home once to find former girlfriend found it very easy to drink and had finished off the last six of 12.

Deep golden color with a fluffy white head. Aromas of pale grain, both floral and somewhat citric hops and light creamed corn (DMS). Off sweet malt flavors, not earthy, not grainy, just plain off. Dry and uneventful finish.
