COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redhook Blonde combines the best attributes of a flavorful golden ale with the refreshing qualities of a lager. The ale is brewed with three different malts and two hop varietals. Lightly roasted barley and a touch of wheat, combined with an ample portion of hops, creates a truly crowd pleasing beer . Redhook Blonde pairs well with medium flavored foods such as fish, nachos or salad. Available year round.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear gold color with a small white head that quickly dissipates. Smells sweet. Some citrus smell present also. Tastes of grains, with a tiny bit of sweetness. Thin and watery. Easy drinking.

Bottle.A clear pale golden color with a minimal white head ,no lacing. Smells sweet and slightly fruity, just a touch of hay.Flavor is a bit sweet, bready, with a touch of fruit . Nice dry finish and mouthfeel. A well built and solid blond, drinkable for sure.

Smells very light, faint aroma of hay. Taste is heavier than it smells, decent amount of darkish malts for a golden. More flavorful than I was expecting. A decent Red Hook offering

Tap @ brewery. Decent loloking, nice head. LIhglt everything, light malts light hops and a distant spiced quality. Not outstanding, however everything goes well with each other, albeit quietly. A decent session brew.

Bottle. Pours Blonde with little head. Smells sweet. Taste is sweet. Pretty wheaty compared to others from this brewer. Not a big fan. Most likely will not buy again.

Bottle from a trade...finally decided to open it as my last beer for the weekend. Amberish pour with a small white head. Aroma is a fair balance of yeast, malt and some hops. Flavor has some grain, yeast, malt and slight hops. Not bad but fairly boring.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin head. A wheaty/malty aroma with a bit of hops. Flavor is light, slightly wheaty and not very exciting. Thin mouthfeel. Slightly bitter aftertaste. I like several of Red Hook’s brews, but not this one.
