arventresca (170), Greenville, North Carolina, USA Sep 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours Blonde with little head. Smells sweet. Taste is sweet. Pretty wheaty compared to others from this brewer. Not a big fan. Most likely will not buy again. daknole (838), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 14, 2008 Bottle from a trade...finally decided to open it as my last beer for the weekend. Amberish pour with a small white head. Aroma is a fair balance of yeast, malt and some hops. Flavor has some grain, yeast, malt and slight hops. Not bad but fairly boring. HoppyGuy (105), USA Sep 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a thin head. A wheaty/malty aroma with a bit of hops. Flavor is light, slightly wheaty and not very exciting. Thin mouthfeel. Slightly bitter aftertaste. I like several of Red Hook’s brews, but not this one. badlizard (1523), San Diego, California, USA Sep 6, 2008 Bottle from VA. Clear golden orange with no head. Sweet malted barley aroma and taste with some slight candy and vanilla notes. Trev (540), Lakeville, Minnesota, USA Aug 25, 2008 on tap at Red Robin: Pours clear gold with thin white head.
Aroma is straw and grainy malt.
Flavour was straw and grainy malt. Light sweet malt body with a clean bitterness to the finish.
Pretty unexciting though not horrible.
