Coppe color. White head. Watery malt and hop aroma. Water malt and hop flavor. This isn’t really very good at all.

Bottle… Lightly hazed golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. Malty aromas of toffee and caramel with some earthy and medicinal notes as well. Malty, caramel and toffee flavor. Hopped just enough to prevent the sweetness from becoming overbearing. Medium to full-bodied with a sticky mouthfeel and middle-of-the-road carbonation. Caramelized, sweet finish. It’s a malt bomb! Reminiscent of a Märzen or Maibock, but both of those are lagers and one of them is an autumn (not spring) seasonal.

Bottle @ home. Pours a clear, burnt orange appearance with a cream colored head. Toasty, bready, caramel malty, earthy hoppy aroma. Creamy, somewhat floral, mostly earthy hoppy, moderately bitter, grassy, caramel malty flavor. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a grassy hops and light malt. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a sour malt and a metallic finish. Not much going on with this one.

Draft at Craft. Hazy dark straw/copper pour with nose of caramel malt, mild hops, fruit. Tastes of bready caramel malt, not terribly complex, with some fruity and mild hops, but not much palate heft. Meh.

355mL. Pours clear amber. Medium off white soapy head. Soapy retention. Nose is sweet cherry and spices. Dog food comes through. Taste is soapy and very bland, tangy, lemon heavy, detergent. Palate is chemical heavy. Worse than the pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2013 Bottle. Clear orange-amber pour with a small white head. Nose is caramel malt and a bit of hop. Palate is a bit thin. Taste is malt-forward with the saaz hops making a showing.

Hazy amber colour with very little head. Malty aroma with noticable citrus hops and some faint fruitiness. Flavour is both spicy and citrusy. Crisp finish with decent body.

Pours amber with white head, aroma is a touch of roast, caramel, nuts. Taste up front is some weak metallic hops, caramel, nutty roast, and a sweet slightly dry finish. Some good flavors, but a bit weak overall.
