Crisp refreshing and clean amber ale that really does go well with some crab legs fresh off the ocean.

Bottle from grocery store. I had never seen this before. Nice light flavor with hints of orange and lemon.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2007 12 oz bottle via Roth’s. This one pours a clear light amber color with an average sized white head. Not much in the nose here, some subtle floral/citrus hops and a little yeast. Taste starts sweet with some orange and peach, some vanilla, then some grassy hops kick in on top of a thin malt backbone. High carbonation. Thin body. Good backyard bbq beer.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2007 Bottled 03-06-07. Pours clear shiny copper with small head that tries to last. Aroma is mild cereal grain and peppery hop. Taste is very balanced, mild and dryish. Palate is light-medium, smooth, dry and slightly hop-tingly. Pretty good session beer, tending towards the English style; very drinkable.

Had this beer on 2/3/2007. Aroma is a slightly sour grainy scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is malty and bitter. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down easy and smooth. Finish comes in with a sweet malt flavor and some fruit tones then ends with a mild bitterness. Its a nice refreshing Spring Ale.

Pretty ok. Small hops, medium-bodied with amber and citric notes...fizzes a bit. malts and some fruit notes. Nice and easy, spring is sleazy.

Poured from bottle 3/2008. Malt, hop and maple syrup in aroma. Color does resemble copper, tan head persists. Pretty basic - malt and hops in flavor, Citrus is extremely slight. Nice finish. Good choice.

This poured a very clear and light amber color that left a small white head with minimal lacing. Nose was malts and grassy hops. Mouthfeel was fairly smooth and clean. Flavor was of a slight sweet malts with just a hint of hops. Finish slight bitter and dry. Nothing fancy here but nothing wrong either. Decent brew

Smells floral / fruity. Appearance is cloudy and reddish orange. Fascinating flavour and a sweet finish with a well-balanced palate. Surprisingly good. Probably RedHook’s best offering, in my opinion.

Pours copper/amber with an off white thin head. Smells of sweet malt and rosey. Tastes earthy and semi sweet with some peppery splashes on the finish.
