COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Blueline Series beer. A collaboration with the Emerald City Supporters, this lager gets its color from the generous use of caramel malts. The medium bitterness comes from the addition of Noble hops. Sky of blue, sea of green, and a lager of amber.

Pours an amber color with a medium white head with pretty good lacing. Smells of caramel, pale malt, and nuts, tastes of all caramel, nuts and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium and slightly creamy with medium carbonation. This a pretty tasty amber beer. Redhook did a pretty good job overall.

Bottle:   Deep amber, copper hues, moderate to large foamy sandy head, fairly nice lacing.   Soft mealy nose, a bit bready, a touch nutty.   Similar on the tongue, mild sweetness, a little tangy.   Fairly easy drinking, nothing too light, but also nothing out of the realm of pedestrian.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   More bready/nutty than your average Premium Lager, which is nice.   Yet, its not as crisp or vibrant.   A different bird I guess.   Still somewhat enjoyable.

Lagerboy (663) - British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 18, 2012
Clear light copper, foamy off white head settles and fades. Faint sweet lager malt aroma. Thin caramel malts and mildly bitter hop taste. Pretty feeble and watery. Average carbonation, light bodied, lightly hopped. Insipid and boring. Vapid finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Bookseeb (52) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Appearance is of a dark amber in color supporting a fair head that dissipates leaving thin spotty lace. Aroma is light with malt and some hops, no real complexity here. Taste has more of a flavor than aroma with light sweetness from the caramel malt and a mild bitter from the hops, rather refreshing. Palate holds a good body and smooth carbonation. Nothing complex, but does the trick as a thirst quencher.

Decent light amber. Easy drinking with moderate floral hop presence and a slight malty caramel backbone. Aight.
