COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Blueline Series beer. A collaboration with the Emerald City Supporters, this lager gets its color from the generous use of caramel malts. The medium bitterness comes from the addition of Noble hops. Sky of blue, sea of green, and a lager of amber.

poisoneddwarf (1684) - Rathdrum, Idaho, USA - MAR 31, 2012
Bomber bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Aroma is bland lager, grain. Pours clear copper with a medium collapsing off-white lacy head. Taste is lightly sweet, dull. Finishes slightly tangy. Has a faint caramel undertone. Body is thin, mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation soft. This is as boring as I was expecting. I was hoping Redhook would surprise me but that didn’t happen.

Clear light copper, foamy off white head settles and fades. Faint sweet lager malt aroma. Thin caramel malts and mildly bitter hop taste. Pretty feeble and watery. Average carbonation, light bodied, lightly hopped. Insipid and boring. Vapid finish. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Pours an amber color with a medium white head with pretty good lacing. Smells of caramel, pale malt, and nuts, tastes of all caramel, nuts and toffee. Mouthfeel is medium and slightly creamy with medium carbonation. This a pretty tasty amber beer. Redhook did a pretty good job overall.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Full Throttle Bottles. Aroma: lightly sweet malt. Appearance: small, frothy, off-white, initial head. Clear, medium-amber body. Taste: lightly sweet, caramel initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: medium body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation. Overall: pretty good.

   AROMA 4/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 7/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 15/20
Bookseeb (110) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - MAY 31, 2012
Appearance is of a dark amber in color supporting a fair head that dissipates leaving thin spotty lace. Aroma is light with malt and some hops, no real complexity here. Taste has more of a flavor than aroma with light sweetness from the caramel malt and a mild bitter from the hops, rather refreshing. Palate holds a good body and smooth carbonation. Nothing complex, but does the trick as a thirst quencher.
