Not quite sure I would call this an official hefe-weizen. Lacked many of the excellent traits. But overall not a bad beer. Just not a good hefe-weizen. U.S. brewers need to stop filtering their beers in this manner.

Golden coored. Hazy. Nowhere near a hefeweizen but rather a nice American ale made from wheat malt IMO.

A bottle of this sneaked into a six-pack of the Blonde that I once bought. I wasn’t paying attention to the label at first, and didn’t notice the difference until after I had finished it and was tossing the bottle. Hefe-Weizen?

Not the biggest fan of Hefe beers, but I liked the taste of this one.

I like this beer. Comparing it to Sierra Nevada’s wheat, which I just had recently, I would prefer this beer.

Had his a few years ago. I think it used to be called Wheat-Hook.

BEWARE! This beer doesn’t smell like a Hefeweizen, and it doesn’t taste like a Hefeweizen. It’s simply a bottle-conditioned Pacific Northwest ale, made with some wheat malt. One would think a great brewer like Red Hook wouldn’t have to stoop to out-and-out fraud to sell a product, cashing in on the popularity of one of the world’s truly great styles with a lame product like this.

There is no better way to say it, ’Its Crap’. Dont waste your time if you are a fan of true hefeweizen!
