A good IPA. A little to citrusy for me, however, it sets up nice, great color and finishes clean. A good American IPA but not the best.

One of my favorite beers. The hops are tremendous and the craftsmanship shows itself. Pours nicely brown into a glass, best served cold. I usually pour it so that is has limited head. The flavors are packed with good pacific northwest hops. I toured the brewery, it is incredible.

aroma pine hops with a little bit of citrus. taste is citrus hop turning to pine bitterness. malt is simple crisp and mild. moderately bitter finish. ok at best and more of an apa.

The best from the sample-4 pack. Impressed by the complicated hop addition. I like lots of strong, creamy hops. This was well on its way to impress me. Great aroma, sweet flavor. Nice beer.

Bottle. Lovely, lovely looks. Lightly cloudy with a low chance of head. Pale copper hue, almost golden. Nose is simplistic. Hops, aprocot, and pine. Mellow flavor, bitter and hoppy. Too thin, but dry and tingly.

Poured clear deep gold with thin bright white head. It has a crisp hoppy aroma of tangelo to grapefruit with sweet malts in the background. Hey, this is a tasty IPA. I get a grapefruit hop bitterness mixed with floral hints. Behind that is a mild roasted maltiness or maybe even some rye that plays nicely against the hops.

Pine and traces of malt, a very drinkable IPA with lots of well balanced flavor. Near perfect to the mouth.

UPDATED: OCT 22, 2009 Bottle. Not a whole lot of aroma except for a noticable hint of pine. Taste wasn’t too strong either, but it has a nice dry finish. A fair to good IPA.
