3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 frankenkitty (1953) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - FEB 4, 2007
Pours a color that is just South of golden (near amber) with a light haze and a creamy head with substance. All-hop aroma with strong PNWs (..and how much more NW can you get than WA?) No adversities. Mild flavor holds a dose of honey sweetness against the mildly bitter hopcit. Alcohol apparent if quaffed too quickly. Unagressive and rather tame in regards to IBUs, but (like Redhook ESB) this is dangerously sessionable.

12oz bottle poured a clear copper color with decent white head. Not too much of an inticing aroma, slightly spicy with some malt. The taste was not bad, smooth and well balanced. I could see how this one could go bad from too much age. Overall not a bad beer when fresh, just not an IPA.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 RCL (2025) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 3, 2007
On tap. I very much enjoyed this one. Clean, crisp hop flavor. Not overpowering at all, and so very drinkable.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lipscomb216 (80) - USA - FEB 2, 2007
Smells like hops......too bad it tastes like skunky hops. Not a disgusting beer by any means, highly drinkable and enjoyable, but if you are looking for a sweet yet bitter taste to your hoppy beer slide on over to Sierra Nevada and give the Celebration Ale a go.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 jonnabrix (137) - Newberrytown, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2007
Aroma of mostly hops, with some spice. The flavor is hopy and bitter, with some pine and malt preset. Pretty dry, medium mouthfeel. I don’t mind having one or two, but nothing to write home about.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 yesyouam (951) - Fairport, New York, USA - JAN 31, 2007
A fairly-laced head of white fizz adorns this particle-filled yellow ale. The aroma is lemongrass with a slight spruce or wintergreen. Firmly bitter (maybe 45 IBU) like a Liberty Ale. It may be a wee top-heavy. ...When I lived out West in the ’90s, this is one of my first session ales. Once I got into Liberty and Sierra Pale, I never went back to this. It’s a little shy in the late boil for my taste.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 VikingHammer (447) - Lynnfield, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 28, 2007
Pors a clear golden with a small white head. Hops are very aparent in the aroma. Tastes of piney hops and citrus. Smooth, but thin finish.
