On tap. Pours mostly clear gold. Aroma is citrusy hops. Taste is balanced, but more on the bitter side. Body is light and refreshing. Very drinkable IPA. Overall, this is a light, easy drinking IPA...very sessionable.

GIJOE (600) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Pours golden with a hint of red; foamy white head that stays a while. Aroma is straight malt with a nice hop overlay. Slightly citrusy. Not nearly as hoppy as a lot of IPAs. Flavor is balanced malt and hops. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Nice brew! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at a friend’s house. Pours golden tellow. Nose is hops and not much else; flavor is more like a pale ale, with mild bitter hops. Bland.

Bottle at DØE BeerFest 2013. Clear yellow - white head. Fresh hoppy, light sweetness, toasted, cactus, light citrus, bitterness, ok malty, herbal hoppy notes.

Easy to drink IPA... I like it for that reason. I think I paid about $3 for the bottle... how can you complain? Not much aroma to it... like the description says... it’s light (the label says bold but I don’t think that really suits this beer)

100ml from a bottle, 6.2% abv, at ØK ’13. Near-clear golden body. Spotty lacing. Fresh aroma of fruity hops. Blended taste of citrus fruits leading to a bitter ending of citrus peels. Medium bodied. Nice and refreshing (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013).

I feel like the label on Redhook says it all. Fairly straight ahead. Call it good and traditional or semi-boring, depending on how you feel. Either way, good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rough notes from Ølfestival 2013 , Tap 1. A clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Light citrussy nose. Rather plain flavor of toasted malts and fragant citrussy hops. Medium bitter finish. Not bad, just mediocre.

Great IPA with nice fresh hop aroma and a fair amount of bitterness I always look for this beer on tap.

Pours light amber with small white head out of bottle. Citrus and hop aroma. Hoppy taste with smooth citrus finish. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
