A white head and clear golden pour with a tint of orange... brassy. Aroma is sweet, grassy, hop spiciness... Cascade? The palate is very clean, and the flavor has a nice bitter bite on the backend after leading off with a mild hoppiness. Grapefruit. Biscuit. Grassy. Slight pineyness. Pretty decent.

Ripe apricot color. Hop, but not citrus, aroma. Hint of apricot flavor, prominent bitterness. Clean. Apricot followed by sweetness, finish is mildly bitter. Just a delight. Finish isn’t really dry, but seems to not be sweet either. Well balanced? Delightful.

Tap: Very big head, off-white(yellowish) frothy, big bubbles, good lacing. Clearish yellowish appearance-very clear. Very bitter aroma. Bitter taste, but not too much. Smooth, acidic bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Applejuice colour, big bubbles, low head. Somewhat neutral aroma. Nice fruity base, ok pine dominated hops. Medium to light body, a tad fizzy. Quick dry finish. Absolutely drinkable.

Bottled. I may be judging unfairly , as I’ve been drinking a number of Imperial IPAs lately, but this IPA, while highly drinkable and tasty, lacked the oomph I’ve come to expect in an IPA.

AlKHall (161) - West Hartford, Connecticut, USA - MAY 27, 2006
This was a little milder than I expected. The appearance was orange/yellow and the hop aroma and flavor was a lot mellower then other IPAs. There is some citrus and honey - mild bitter after taste.

Poured a clear golden yellow color with a large off-white head. A light earthy hop aroma with mostly caramel malt notes. Mildly sweet malt with a dry and long bitter finish. Medium bodied.
