UPDATED: JUN 29, 2006 Nice dark golden color. Good flavor with intermediary bite. One of the more common India’s in my area. I would bet this stuff is wicked on tap.The one thing I don’t like about it though is the nasty after taste.

The Redhook IPA has a very significant hop presence in the aroma. The head is very light in color, and the beer has a lasting aftertaste. As you move further down the glass, the beer seems to mellow and, by the end, your mouth is in hop heaven.

piney flavor with a bitter aftertaste i honestly like this one because it is very easy to drink and is heaven when its ice cold.

Is Red Hook performing some type of social experiment with this one? This is the worst IPA I’ve ever tasted...it’s a mess cold, and when it’s warm it falls apart completely. I’m not sure what the brewmasters at RH were trying to accomplish...it’s horrible.

Lemon Pine Citrus Notes in the nose. Not a big IPA but very drinlable Nice hop to malt ratio but still a little light. Good mass produced beer.

Aroma of grass, spruce and citrus. Clear and golden-amber. Medium bitter mild hops -I’d almost mistake this for a pale ale instead of an IPA. Slightly oily finish

Pours copper with a white head. Smells of pine, citrus and soap. Tastes watery with a mellow malty profile and some bitterness, but a far cry from a good IPA.
