On Tap....best part of this was the nice floral hop aroma. The taste was not as hoppy or bitter as expected from an IPA. Will do if there are no other micros around.

Draft at Jack & Son’s in Richland, WA. I thought this was pretty decent. Very typical aromas for an IPA.. Very hoppy flavor and aroma. Citrusy grapefruit and a slightly malty finish. good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a deep red-orange honey color with a thin white head. The aroma is crisp and hoppy. The flavor is quite clean with smooth hops that bitter toward the finish and plent of grapefruit notes. I like it.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2006 Rated 9/30/2005 Pours dark golden with a fully receding white head. Aroma of flowery citrus hops. Taste is a complex hop character from the three varieties, slightly spicy, some grapefruit. Finishes dry and bitter. Not exactly an "intense" hop character, but mellow and enjoyable. Rated 5/20/2006 - 19 days after bottling! Pours golden with a thin foamy off-white head. Aroma of fresh piney hops dissapates quickly leaving a nose of buttery grapefruit. Taste is hop resin, toasted cracker malts, a mild note of bread and restrained spiciness from the hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and resinous with lush carbonation. A bit underwhelming in the hops department, but overall this is a good beer.

Draught. Not much aroma and almost no head or lacing. Some flowery hop bite but not much. An average at best IPAand drinkable when the only other choice is B M or C.

Bottle. Pours a clear, light amber color with a sparse white head that fades to a bare layer. Moderate lacing is left behind. Aroma is fairly pleasant, light malt and earthy, somewhat grassy hop odor. Light bodied. Fair balance but on the weak side for an IPA. Not a whole lot of hop presence and what hop presence is there is a touch vegetal. Slightly drying.

The first sip has a nice hop taste, but after that the hops become less noticable.

A light floral aroma with overtones of fruit. Pours a golden color with a white head. Some hop bitterness but not much. Finishes mild on the palae.
