Pours a clear golden yellow, well carbonated, thick fluffy head. Aroma is that of nice piney hops. Light balanced IPA not too hoped but not much flavor. Palate is smooth a little thin and dry but drinkable.

On tap. Pours a clear yellow amber with almost no head. Aroma is clean malts with citrus hops. Flavor is light and reasonably balanced. Nothing special, but drinkable.

Now I would say that this IPA is average at best, but it was the beer that turned me on to IPA’s. Has a bitter hop flavor with a little bit of a citrus note but nothing to make it stand out.

Bottle. Pours a brilliant golden color. White head with no lacing. Low aroma of citrus and spiciness. Taste is fairly mild for a IPA, seems more like a pale ale to me. Taste of grapefruit, bubblegum and sweet malt. The finish is very crisp but more on the dry side. Very quaffable. A nice brew but not exactly an IPA; especially in the PNW.

A slightly above average IPA. Golden color with a nice white foamy head. Highly carbonated. Light sweet coffe and malt flavors. Good with food.

I like Pale Ale and this is a good one. Not their signature beer, but I think it is their best. Smooth and nice finish

On tap at Foxwoods. Amber color with a slight coffee taste. Good ale. Would drink it again.

Had this beer on 6/2/1999. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and head. Aroma is nonexistent. Taste is much better with a light refreshing flavor. Starting with a medium/light body going down easy with a light sweet malt flavor coming out. Finish is this malt flavor followed by a hop flavor and light bitterness. Overall it works well, is well balanced and refreshing.
