Is this really an IPA? I mean, I can taste the hops but it doesnít seem the right color. Some fruity flavors and smells a little like pancakes, for some reason. Overall pretty bland

Very strange IPA. The bitter is rather mouth-drying (not only dry but the opposite of mouth-watering: unappetizing). Slightly astringent taste in the hops and way more bitter than flavorful. Very metallic, with a chlorine-like finish.

Dirty yellow pour doesnít exactly make for an exciting introduction. Dry, malt with some dusty hop aroma. Light bodied. Some toasted malt, dirty, dry hop flavors. The hops are very mild and muted with this one. This feels unclean to me. Overall, a rather uneventful IPA.

12 oz bottle, snifter. Brassy...thatís about right as far as the hue goes. I really didnít get much of a head from this pour at all. What I did get was white and fizzy and disappeared rather quickly. If it werenít for the carbonation bubbling away, this would look rather lifeless. Basically nothing in the way of malt aroma. Maybe a little bit of toast. Hops are herbal...almost like...basil? The dominant aroma is like a green apple thatís been cut up and left out to brown. Bleh. Lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lighlty bitter flavor becomes a moderately acidic, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Fairly harsh astringency. The bottom line is: The acidity and astringency are overwhelming...my mouth is going numb...Iím stopping with this now.

Bottle: The smell reminds me of ammonia-like when your mom used to get her hair colored. Pours golden with a quickly evaporating head. Initially very hoppy, but fades away to a clean finish. OK, but I wonít be buying this one again.

$1.50 @ Target. Pour is semi cloudy amber. A minimal amount of hops are present. Mostly a soapy, astringent taste at first. Gets a little better when it warms up. I guess it had a little sprite twist to it. I donít think this would have made its way from England to India.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, light carmel, lemon rind and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied. Flavors of bread, straw, light carmel and a hint of citrus with a crisp lightly bitter finish. A very boring IPA!!!

Nice bitter IPA from red hook. Gloabors are hoppy and sour. Interesting mix of flavors. Pours light gold with a medium head.

Had this at the brewery. Again its a decent beer, just not my favorite style. Kind of watery and maybe a tad too much carbonation. Wouldnt drink it again usually.
