COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the fall days grow shorter, beer drinkers naturally start their migration toward more robust, full-bodied brews. Late Harvest is an easy-drinking, yet flavorful brew that features a deep chestnut color and unique, roasted malt aroma and flavor. Late Harvest’s rich flavor is the result of using four different malts, yet the robust profile remains balanced and sophisticated, thanks to our two distinctive hop additions. Late Harvest pairs nicely with grilled burgers or any tailgate cuisine. Available August through October.

Bottle at a very boring wedding this past weekend. Pours brown with nutty nose. Tastes of toast, nutty, floral, caramel, and malt. Slight sticky on palate but a welcome addition to this snoozefest of a ceremony

355ml bottle pours a rich amber color with a finger and a half of creamy white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some toasty notes along with some floral and grass as well. Taste is caramel malty sweet with some toasted nutty notes and a mild grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with some nice carbonation. Quite a delightful amber brew that was quite tasty and enjoyable to drink.

Originally reviewed: 10/11/08. Picked this up on a "make your own sixer" from Fresh Market. Pours a nice crystal clear deep orange with a 3-finger head with a moderately agressive pour. Excellent retention paired with nice sticky lacing on the glass side. Smell is nothing spectacular. Malt is the big player here, but with some floral and butter scents balancing it out. I’m really into the taste of this one. This brew is smooth and creamy. Nice mild hop bitterness covers the taste of some bread and corn. No metallic twang, good finish. This is a well drinkable brew due to the smoothness. Fairly well balanced with light carbonation. A little watery but not enough to turn me away. Good brew.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a copper color with a huge foamy orange head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet toasted caramel but was a bit vegetal. The flavor was sweet toasted caramel, fig, honey and nut. The finish was medium length tangy caramel and nut. Medium body. Ok.

Poured amber in color with a sticky white head. Aroma is nice sweet malt and caramel and maybe a bit nutty. Sweet flavor with medium bitterness to round things out. Very smooth palate. Drinkable enough to have multiples in a single session.

Very balanced and crisp. Malty base with a slightly bitter finish, caramel and nut flavors in there as well.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours copper with an off-white head. Aroma of tin, pale malts, and hardly any hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. Nothing special here.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Off-white micro head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Bread and nut aromas. Sweet nutty caramel upfront turning to resin in the dry, lasting slightly hot finish.
