Clear copper pour with a good foamy head that faded slowly. Lightly sweet aroma and flavor or roasted caramel malt, light fruit and a touch of hop spiciness. Lightly carbonated and refreshing. Good.

This beer poured a nice and inviting copper color with a generous white head that lasted a while and left nice lacing around the glass. Aroma was not real strong, but had hints of fruit. Flavor was also of fruit. Very smooth and drinkable. Mouthfeel was pleasant. I would buy this again.

Bottle... Murky burnt orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is malty and earthy... caramel, canvas and beef stock. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and ticklish carbonation. Caramel flavor with mineral bitterness that provides perfect balance, but allows the malts to shine brightly. Crisp, clean finish. Seems more like a märzen than an amber ale.

Bottle. Amber with white head. Initial taste was somthing by the line of sweat socks. Not good. After beer chilled it had too much of an alcohol taste. All in all another under performer from the hook.

Bottle. Poured Amber with medium white head. Not much aroma, but what there was was pleasant. Some roast, caramel and much malty notes in the flavour. Medium mouthfeel. Mild finish, but lasting.

[Bottle] Pours a clearish caramel with a small off white head. Slight hop nose with a touch of caramel. Flavor is more like a marzen, sort of lagery characteristics. Caramel flavor.

Date: 9/25/2008 Source:Food Lion Nose of caramelized malts and grain. Slight fruitiness and earthy hop notes. Clear Light amber golden with small white head. Flavor of biscuity grain and caramelized malts with a touch of fruitiness and moderate earthy hop flavor and bitterness. Medium body with high carbonation. Nice relatively dry bitter finish.

I kinda like this one. Little oily coating on the mouth, good flavor right after you open it. Flavor depletes after about twenty min, which is truely sad
