Kind of boring but it definately reminded me of a fall style beer. It was kind of malty with a fairly smooth finish. cheapdark (2015), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Iced tea color and appearance. No bubbles rising within. Strong mildly sweet candy aroma. has some malt or hop presence in the initial taste but it don’t leave much of a bitter impression. This has a reversed typical hop impact, it’s bitter at first then fades, compared to many that build in a bitter way thru the session. More gentleman like. Some carbonation. Not bad for a fest beer. Could use a few manners on the taste buds. Finish is medium short mild industrial pilsner hop bitterness. MarkBarnes (266), Waterville, New York, USA

Particularly enjoyed the malty/bitter palate on this one, but must agree somewhat with a previous rater who found no "glaring faults", just a "boring recipe" -- which pretty much sums up my experience with this competent, but relatively undistinguished, brewery. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 13, 2007 clear, light amber color, thin off-white head. slightly bready malts in the nose and the hops I can’t really discern in this one. flavor is a little bit wet paper sack....really an odd beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2007 Pours an orange amber color with off-white, bread colored head. Smells of yeast, fall spice and leaves. Tastes crackly in the mouth, wet leaf and caramel malts, clean hops, nice spice finish. I liked this. Definitely gets me in the mood for October. gsmitty80 (638), Washington DC, USA

The flavors were a little off but seeing as how i had it in the middle of the summer, im sure it was an old keg. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Rusty amber clear colored body with an off-white, plain head (cola bubbles). Basic grainy nose with light hints of cedar wood and hay, but mostly just cracker scented malts. Flavor is the same – clean, without any glaring defects other than a boring recipe – with basic flavors of cracker malts and faint hay or corn. An ok beer but nothing special. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 1, 2007 Bottle. Rich amber color with decent lasting head. Yeasty smell - nothing too fantastic. Very slight bite to it. Somewhat boring on the palate. Slightly bland. Very little flavor to it - reminds me of slightly bitter water.
