Not a lot of flavor. I can detect plent of malt and possibly caramel. Little to no aftertaste. Not a bad brew. Just nothing to get all excited about. Average. blkitson (137), Westerville, Ohio, USA

There is an aftertaste, not too strong, but I really can’t put my finger on what it tastes like. Not a bad ale Juelze (895), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 1, 2007 Pours an amber color with 1/2" inch that fades quickly. Aroma is mainly roasted malt, caramel, and slight spice aroma. Taste is roasted malt, caramel, crystal malt. Not much going on in this one and it seems a bit thin for my liking. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 19, 2006 Bottle. Almost foul aroma with a amber/brown body and thin head. Tastes like a bad combination of malts and hops. not smooth or balanced but more like a mess. bubbleflubber (892), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2006 Pours a clear medium brown into the glass, with a slightly retentive frothy head leaving sporadic lace. A bit of a malty nose. Decent malt contingency, with a good bit of hops that provide a stiff enough bitter back. Decent brew, honestly. I really wasn’t expecting much out of this, and even though it’s not the epitome of complexity, it’s got a nice enough body to it, a lasting finish, and a fair rating from me. ilikestuff (222), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
