On draft, amber pour. Nice flavor with a little bit of a spicy kick. An enjoyable beer which goes down smooth.

Pours fairly dark amber with a small off-white head. The aroma has lightly roasted caramel malt with some sweetness and tangy spice. Medium body starts off smooth, but gets crisp on the finish due to the sharp carbonation. Flavor starts with lightly taosted caramel malt with light brown sugar and a syrupy taste, but not a cloying or thick body. The finish has hops comeing in with spice and light pine. This is much better than I expected from Red Hook.

Pours orange red with whitish head. A bit of citrus and hops on the nose. Quite mild in taste, malt and a little citrus.

bottle. somewhat muted light roast in the aroma as well as a tiny bit of spicy hops. Taste is some caramel malt, and roasted grains, some metallic notes with a balanced hop finish. drinkable.

I thought this beer was kind of hoppy for a time of year when i think of octoberfest / malty types of beer. good and refeshing, but overall nothing to put it above the rest.

From a 12 oz. bottle. The body is light bronze with a thin slightly yellowish head. The aroma is lightly hoppy with some toffee and orange flavored gum. The taste is a little bit of orange peel zest with a little soap and pine notes. There is also a little bit of dry woody character. The body is thin, but not so much for an amber. A decent brew that is very drinkable.

Light aroma. Some sweet malt and a bit of dry hops. Caramel and biscuit. Not a very strong nose. Vibrant amber clear with wispy head. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Overall, a bit watery. Light sweetness with some caramel and biscuity flavor. Fairliy crisp, with mild bitterness for the finish. Tastes more like a lager than an ale.
