Bottle... Murky burnt orange ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is malty and earthy... caramel, canvas and beef stock. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and ticklish carbonation. Caramel flavor with mineral bitterness that provides perfect balance, but allows the malts to shine brightly. Crisp, clean finish. Seems more like a märzen than an amber ale.

Rusty amber clear colored body with an off-white, plain head (cola bubbles). Basic grainy nose with light hints of cedar wood and hay, but mostly just cracker scented malts. Flavor is the same – clean, without any glaring defects other than a boring recipe – with basic flavors of cracker malts and faint hay or corn. An ok beer but nothing special.
