COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As the fall days grow shorter, beer drinkers naturally start their migration toward more robust, full-bodied brews. Late Harvest is an easy-drinking, yet flavorful brew that features a deep chestnut color and unique, roasted malt aroma and flavor. Late Harvestís rich flavor is the result of using four different malts, yet the robust profile remains balanced and sophisticated, thanks to our two distinctive hop additions. Late Harvest pairs nicely with grilled burgers or any tailgate cuisine. Available August through October.

12oz bottle. Poured a deeper orangish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of earthiness, toasted grains and a touch of caramel. Tastes of caramel, citrus, and toasted malts.

half asleep, i thought this was another American pale wheat, even after pouring with a moderate colour and white head. instead got a malt play with some hops. A little roast in there, a bit watery, drinkable and not bad for a beverage.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Fairfax, VA. Pours a clear amber color with a medium fizzy tan head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, plum-like fruit notes and a faintly hoppy finish. The taste is toasted malts, bitter hops, a faint bit of chocolate and a caramel finish. Medium bodied. Drinkable. Decent.

3fourths (7976) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 4, 2007
Rusty amber clear colored body with an off-white, plain head (cola bubbles). Basic grainy nose with light hints of cedar wood and hay, but mostly just cracker scented malts. Flavor is the same – clean, without any glaring defects other than a boring recipe – with basic flavors of cracker malts and faint hay or corn. An ok beer but nothing special.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with no head over a clear golden orange body. Aroma of grass, body odor, grainy and light hops. Taste is sweet and grainy with what I swear is nearly a hint of watermelon (as odd as that may sound). Thin and dry mouthfeel.

Dogbrick (7839) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 30, 2006
Sample at AleFest Dayton: This beer is a slightly hazy dark amber/orange color with a compact off-white head and minimal lacing. The aroma is malty with a hint of hops. Medium-bodied and dry with malt and caramel flavors, plus some hops in the background. The finish is both malty and fruity. Pretty straightforward.

Poured slightly hazy copper with little head. Aroma of corn flakey malt, some caramel and cabernet. Tastes grainy cereally malty, with some hops, brown sugar, and faint dark fruit.

Bottled on 7/18/07. Poured an ugly, cloudy medium orange with very little carbonation and only the faintest dusting of head. My first impression from the aroma was "American wheat ale".. had that sweetened-up-to-make-it-tolerable/intriguing/palat character to it.. some of the sweetness appeared berry-related.. I just didnít dig it. The flavor was a little more agreeable.. lightly-toasted berries and caramel at the core with a mild grassy/herbal hop presence.. more berries on the finish, which made it a bit hard to choke down.. decent mild smoky accents throughout. Lighter-bodied with lower carbonation on the palate.. man.. I just didnít care for this.

Draft. Amber beer with an off-white head. Light hop and malt aroma. Caramel and sweet malt flavor with some earthiness and light hops. Medium bodied. Sweet malt lingers with some caramel.

12oz bottle. Clear copper color with nice tan head and good lacing. This beer creates the same flavor as aroma. Thereís sweet caramel malts, a bit of biscuit, dryer tasting roasted malts and some floral to spicy hops. Tasty brew.
