The hop character jumped out in a good way. The Saaz give it a very spicy flavor on the palate. A good warmer. Elwood (684), Leesburg, Virginia, USA

Appearance: Hazy amber with a foamy, off-white head. Okay head retention.
Aroma: Fruity nose with notes of biscuit, citrus, and light malt.
Flavor: Citrus, primarily orange, toasted malt, and light herbal hops. Nice and crisp. Perhaps a slight touch of tobacco as well.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a slick, medium mouthfeel. Crisp, medium-short finish.
Overall: A great bridge between the crisp summer brews and the maltier, heavier stuff of the fall and winter. Simple but tasty and highly sessionable. Radek Kliber (4001), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 29, 2005 Clear dark orange, short head, some lacing. Aroma is slightly citrus, toasty and sweet. Taste is not very thick and has a different spicy/sour edge mixed in with the thin caramel malt flavors. This one is also fine for steaming turkey sausage in. TheOrange (421), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Pour is very orange/dark amber. The head is a yellowish - white, nice and sudsy. Very mild hop aroma. Taste is clean, good hopps, not too much, mellow malts to the finish. A little too carbonated. Not bad beer.
