3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This has more or less become a new staple beer. It has replaced Sweetwater IPA for biological reasons. There is a nice hop flavor combined with a few other subtlties such as citrus and nutmeg. We’ll see how long this stays on my staple list.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle: Pours a lightly murky golden/copper color with a soapy white head that lingers for a while. Aroma has a nice floral hop aroma with grapefruit and pine needles coming to the forefront. No discernable malt characteristics but the citrus fruit packs a punch in the aroma. Taste is a bright bitter hop texture with a mild lingering bitterness into the palate. In my opinion, This beer is too one dimensional for an IPA. It’s good and I would get it again but just not the cream of the crop.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Corn and lemon peel aroma. Amber color, thick white head. Bitter barley taste with a touch of grapefruit. Very grainy. Not very representative of an IPA, but not too bad. It’s what I would expect if you mixed a bitter, an helles, and a pale ale. It does have character.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
A nice try by Redhook of marrying the hops and malt together, however the beer needs more hops, in my opinion. The malt tends to cover the hops in the finish. Ths wasn’t bad tasting, but I believe there was too much malt and not enough hops. As I continued drinking it, I started getting a real syrupy mouthfeel which wasn’t that pleasant. I don’t think I would buy this again.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle, citrus, hoppy, which leads to some bitterness, but in a good way, could see getting hammered on a few of these

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Yes, I see no reason for such a low score, this is good beer. Bottle. Pours a golden light amber color, full head. Aroma is citrus hops. Flavor dominated by American hops. Not much malt backbone, this is all hops. Has a thin dryness with a wierd sweetness which brings the score down some, but overall this is good.

Sweet hoppy piney aroma. Medium/light bodied. Overall another good IPA, otherwise unremarkable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ E & O Trading Co, Larkspur. Poured much lighter and more of a golden hue than most IPA’s with a fluffy off white head. This one smelled and tasted a little like a IIPA because of the pine/ citrus notes that carried through to the flavor. Clean, bitter finish was the best attribute, but I won’t have this one again.
