2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle served in a DFH IPA glass
A - Pours clear and brassy with 1.5 fingers of sticky white sea foam that slowly melts, clinging to the sides of the glass.
S - Clean bready malts, caramel sweetness, piney hops, orange cream
T - Bittering hops upfront mixed with soft bready malts, pine seems to be the dominate hop flavor with citrus and floral skirting the edges of the semi-sweet pale malts. The flavors are somewhat thin and the beer finishes with floral/pine bitterness.
M - Medium body with the carbonation giving it a bit of heft.
Well brewed beer but the flavors were thin for the ABV creating a typical and average IPA. I did like the piney hops which seems hard to find these days amongst all the citrus and floral varieties. Good price for a 12 pack.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance was clear gold with lasting creamy white 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are grapefruit, orange, lemon and slight pine and mild sweet pale, crystal malts. Taste are grapefruit, soft orange marmalade with slight piney lemon, solid pale, crystal backbone. Palate was creamy smoothCO2 with medium body, fruity lasting mild IPA finish. A solid traditional IPA, mild for today IPA standard.

A good beer to down more then a couple. Resembles more of a pale ale. Weak bitter taste, but the hops are deffently there. All in all I will buy this beer again, but for more of a session beer.

This is a solid beer available in a can at a real good price. I would pay the extra 3 bucks a 12 every day of the week over the lites that i get in most places. I cut my teeth in Germany 20 years ago and i know good beer when I taste it. I’ll swing the long hammer!

Quite watery for an IPA. That upfront hoppy taste of an IPA is really weak. The body is watery and the aftertaste is water and mild bitterness.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: hops. Appearance: clear gold, creamy medium head. Taste: bitterness. Palate: medium carbonation and body, getting slightly sour at the very end. Overall: decent IPA, maybe not the best palate, could show more flavour. Pint at The Mall Tavern, London
