Bottiglia. Una dry hopping di alta fermentazione, color oro, non filtrata, velata, profumata, con forte sentore di luppolo, schiuma cremosa, intensità olfattiva molto elevata e dalla lunga persistenza gustativa.

Funny little medicine bottle. Smells good, but not much going on, otherwise. Some hop flavour, but lacking in bitterness.

La mancanza di un solido retrogusto amaro, che è il maggior difetto di questa IPA, è paradossalmente l’aspetto che me la fa apprezzare di più. Un po’ annacquata, una specie di the alla pesca con un lieve retrogusto amaro, ma non del tutto disprezzabile. È un po’ la classica "birra da partita" versione IPA.

Im Glas trüb-golden, perlt schön, schöner, Schaum, bricht im IPA-Glas aber schnell weg. In der Nase sehr fruchtig, Orangen, Ananas, hallo Cascade. Setzt sich Trunk fort. Der Alkohol will immer mal durch, schaffst aber nicht ganz, das ist gut, so bleibt es sehr ausgewogen. Interessanter Abgang, erst süß, dann matt, hinten weg wenig Bums, aber sehr angenehm zu trinken. Geile Flasche!

12 fl.oz. bottle. Small white layer. Hazy light peach color. Aroma is nettles, spruce shoots, american hops. Taste is bitter with evergreen notes.

Blond doré, peu trouble, mousse moyenne à faible avec bulles plutôt fines. Très forte amertume accompagné de son bouquet d’arômes assez harmonieux, alcool vient ensuite. Pale ale très agréable, au goût assez fort.

12 oz bottles from notes. Pours a light golden amber, slightly hazy, under 2 fingers of ivory head. Head is not dense but has decent retention. A - PREVIOUSLY "strong piney hops aroma with lesser citrus" -- NOW "nice fruity and rather fresh hop aroma" -- and light toasted malt components. T - Hop-favored balance with notable malt presence and some fruitiness and bubblegum. Moderate (for style) amount of hop flavor with a lasting and typically bitter hop aftertaste, but more bubblegum than I can remember. Rough transition to grapefruit peel i the aftertaste. M - medium body with good carbonation. Dry finish works well in an IPA. O - an enjoyable, if mediocre IPA. {NOW near 4, but prior rating left standing} {Not just a new bottle? -- Revisited in August 2011, with a suspicion that Red Hook has improved the formulation of this IPA; the packaging and listed ABV (6.5%) has changed. ... 2012 sample seems to split the difference.}

ogivlado (6361) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 5, 2015
Bottled 355ml. -from Rudat Dortmund. Unclear golden coloured, small off-white head, light fruity nose. Sweet malty, citrusy and fruity hoppy, notes of caramel and grass near the end. Pretty ordinary or should I say (below) average brew.
