Bottle. Light red. Smell of hops and citrus. Taste of hops and citrus. A pretty good IPA. Better than the ESB. Pretty good stuff here.

it’s important not to pigeon hole IPA’s, but this honestly (OBJECTIVELY) wasn’t my favorite beer. it seemed to have all of the bitter and negative qualities of an IPA without all of the wonderfully robust flavors and "kick you ass" kick. Looks BEAUTIFUL, but that doesn’t carry weight if it doesn’t taste good.
I wouldn’t pay to drink this again.

Sep 6, 2008 Yellow gold pour with minimal head. Mild IPA. It has a decent flavor. Okay with citrus, pine, lemon. Well, I think it’s a little better than the score indicates, so there may be a little bit of bias, yet it still falls short of many within its style.

Sep 6, 2008 (Tap) Clear light orange color with a small off white head. Crisp hoppy aroma. Taste is hoppy, but balanced nicely with some malts. Light bodied.... not as bitter as a typical IPA.

Sep 2, 2008 (Bottle). Citrusy aroma. Light orange color with almost no head. Flavor has the IPA citrus tang, and some hops bitterness and malt background, but everything is muted and overly restrained. Not bad really, just not enough.
