12 oz bottle. Pours clear medium brown with a smallish beige head. Malty, caramel aroma with some biscuit. Malty flavor with light sweetness, also some light hop bitterness. Medium to light body with average carbonation and a bit of sweetness in the after taste. Overall fairly drinkable and good but a bit boring.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a dark amber with a small frothy beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a sweet fruit malt with caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a rich malt with caramel and fruit. Very easy to drink, a very god brown ale from Redhook.

12oz bottle from BevMo. Pours a clear copper brown with a frothy beige head that left some nice lacing. Nose is nutty with some faint hops and roasted malts. Flavor was much of the same. Drinkable and somewhat enjoyable, a good session brown.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle pours murky brown with no retaining head. Aroma of roasted hazelnuts, nutmeg, cinnamon. Very similar taste: spiced hazelnut coffee creamer. That pretty much sums it up. The taste profile fits and it is indeed creamy; a bit thin. Light to medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a low to medium level of carbonation. Gains palate points back for the great mouthfeel. Highly drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle into giant dimpled mug. Faint tart aroma. Caramel and nutty smells come out as the beer warms. Pours brown with little head, decent lacework. Definitely nutty flavor (I’m reminded of hazelnut coffee creamer). Medium carbonation, medium body. I love nut brown ales. This one is pretty average. Definitely not bad, though.
