Bottle from PCC market in Fremont, WA. Pours dark amber with a foamy beige head. Mild malt aroma. Light body. Light carb. Light flavor. But good flavor. Pretty much a light dark malt brown ale kind of flavor. None of the usual earthiness of a brown, but a nice flavor. Goes down real easy. In some ways the flavor suggests stout. Don’t know where that came from.

Bottle @ home. Burgundy appearance with a light tan head. Toffee, caramel, nutty, toasty, brown malty nose. Toasty, slightly nutty, a touch bitter, brown malty flavor. Not all that exciting of a beer but decent.
