Six barley malts and two hop varieties result in a surprisingly smooth, well balanced dark beer. Mudslinger pairs nicely with grilled meats, stews, fowl, and even smoked oysters or salmon. A dingy copper color with a lingering head. Malty aroma with a mild roast carries to the palate with good carbonation. A nice hop bittering takes place. Not bad. It has a very commercial sense about it.

Aroma – Sweet malt aroma with some hops coming through.
Appearance – Dark amber in color, Clear with a light head.
Flavor – Malt and hops balance this was brewed for the masses very little excitement from this brew.
Palate – Dry finish with a nice Mouthfeel.
Overall – Nice everyday easy drinking spring beer. I wish it had more flavor and even some nuttiness.

Pours a thin clear brownish toffee color on two with bubbly white head. Aroma is caramel, but brown and light sweet chocolate and toffee. Taste follows, thin and a bit too sweet, but easy to drink. Meh.

Aroma of coffee and cocoa. Clear reddish brown color. Starchy coffee taste, moderate bittering, not too sweet. A bit more spice and hop profile than your usual brown ale.

Pours a clear deep amber with a light head, thin streaks of lace. The taste somehow reverses things: somewhat bitter chocolate malt grows through the palate into a warm caramel malt that lingers deep into the finish. Easy to drink.
